Fargo (Klee) is going to OT in their playoff game. Cory Babichuk is playing, but Ryan Mahshie is not dressed in the AJHL final. I will post both summaries in the morning.

On Tuesday, the Fargo Force lost to the Des Moines Buccaneers 3-2 in overtime. They lost the best-of-three playoff series 2-0. This ends their season. Rory Herrman had no

On Tuesday, the Spruce Grove Saints lost to the Brooks Bandits 2-0. Brooks won the best-of-7 division final series 4-0 and the Inter Pipeline Cup . This ends Spruce Grove’s season. Brooks moves on to the Doyle Cup vs. the BCHL champion, not yet decided.. Cory Babichuk had no points or penalties. Was at the FF last weekend and met up with someone in a Lincoln Stars sweatshirt so I asked him about our 3 recruits who played there this year (Ashbrook, Dubinsky and Klee, didn’t mention Itagaki). He said that Ashbrook has blazing speed, Dubinsky showed some talent when he finally got healthy, and Klee was mostly a stay-at-home, hard hitting defenseman. Said we should be pleased with all of them.

On Wednesday (and Thursday ;) ), the Sioux Falls Stampede defeated the Sioux City Musketeers 3-2 in quadruple overtime. They won the best-of-three playoff series 2-0. Mason Klee had no points or penalties. https://www.ushl.com/view/#/game-summary/8665

His total is now 66-3-8-11-70.
It came within 3:18 of the longest USHL playoff game. It was the longest since the USHL became Tier I.

Was in Brooks last weekend and caught both games. Spruce started slow, but really picked it up. The double overtime loss to Brooks was a shame since Spruce had all the momentum. That was their game to lose. Babichuk must have had 10 shots on net that night, no one could get it past Brook's goalie. Brooks will be tough to beat at RBC cup. Too bad series ended early. Great games

I heard the end of the first OT through the end of the game, and it did seem that CB was on the ice a lot. OTOH he seemed to be beaten on the winning goal.

Sadly, yes. Didn't look as bad as it probably sounded lol. I think halfway through the third period, Spruce lost 3-4 guys to injury. One was one of their top forwards. Couldn't believe they held on for double overtime, but they still looked good. And yes, It seemed as though Babichuk never left the ice for 5 periods. The Brooks announcer apparently was impressed with Babichuk(hockey tv). I believe Brooks is #1 in Canada and they will be hard to beat. They're projected to win RBC cup(national junior a championship), which they are hosting in May. Might have to check it out!!!
