RPI Recruit Thread 2017-18 (Part III)

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2017-18 (Part III)

Dan Jewell is the second one listed (after some guy named Rick ;) ).

On Friday, the US defeated Switzerland 6-2 in the 5 Nations Tournament. Their record is 1-1. Michael Cameron had no points or penalties. https://www.hockeyslovakia.sk/sk/st...-u17-nations-tournament/match/100992/overview. There doesn’t appear to be a be an actual box score. The above is the closest. There is also a list of each player’s stats including +/-, ice time, etc https://www.hockeyslovakia.sk/sk/stats/matches/686/2018-5-u17-nations-tournament/match/100992/stats. MC got very little ice time, none after the first few minutes. :( I wonder if he is injured.

Cameron’s line is now 2-0-0-0-12.

I will post the official US game summary later.

I wonder how much of it has to do with that 10 minute misconduct he received in the Czech game. I don't read Slovak, but based on the video that came with the box score, ref's signal was boarding. There is an actual box score, but it comes a day or two later.

I did say boarding on post 598. :) I based it on the tweet.

I don't think that it his sitting is due to the penalty. He played about a minute in the first few minutes before I got on the train. That doesn't sound like it is due to Wednesday's penalty. It sounds to me more like he got an injury and tried to see if he could play. They don't carry extra players for the tournament, so if he could possibly play, they would see how he did on one shift. Then again, it could be due to the penalty. :D

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2017-18 (Part III)

On Wednesday, Straight North lost to Coyote Logistics 12-9. They won’t be in the playoffs next week (which apparently is the 4 A Division teams, and SN is B Division). Zach Dubinsky had no points or penalties. https://www.chicagoprohockeyleague.com/schedule-stats/division-b-week-6-game-2
Dubinsky’s line is now 6-7-6-13-0.

There are two Straight North goals unaccounted for and one missing for Coyote Logistics. I will check if it is updated in an hour or two.

Dubinsky's own page shows him as 6-8-6-14-0, so I guess he did score a goal.

I knew with the storms we were having I’ld eventually lose satellite TV. I just finished watching the whole game & I never saw #20 on the ice. The US did dress 20 players for the game. Did you actually see MC play Ralph?

I saw him play on Wednesday a bit, not on Friday. I did not watch Friday's game. I wrote that he played a bit early on Friday, becuase https://www.hockeyslovakia.sk/sk/stats/matches/686/2018-5-u17-nations-tournament/match/100992/stats says that he did, and that total was there already when I turned the computer on. That's all that I know.

Saturday's game
Mike Cameron schedule: https://teamusa.usahockey.com/page/show/4247549-2018-under-17-five-nations-tournament

I will post the summary whenever. The Slovakian site states the game is at 17:30 (11:30 EDT). It is probably more accurate. If so I will be out and I will post when I return. Yesterday's game summary still listed 8 AM EDT.

The US lost 7-6 in OT. If MC played and according to the Boxscore he did, he didn’t play the last 10min. of Reg. or just the 20 sec. of OT Germany needed (that’s all I watched).

MC got little ice time again. :(

Cameron’s line is now 3-0-0-0-12.

I think that he has not been playing. This morning I watched the first 10 minutes of yesterday's game which what I missed while on the train and didn't see him. I suspect that he injured himself when he got a boarding penalty on Wednesday, but haven't seen any report.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2017-18 (Part III)

Michael Cameron is not listed in the lineup for the game which is in progress. https://www.hockeyslovakia.sk/sk/stats/matches/686/2018-5-u17-nations-tournament/match/100997/lineup I would be surprised if he were not injured on Wednesday.

FWIW, Carson Bantle is also not dressed.

BTW, RPI women's 2019 recruit Amanda Rampado is one of three goalies on the Canadian U18 playing the US at noon EDT in Calgary. She will probably be Lovisa Selander's replacement. The other two goalies played the first two games. It would not surprise me if she were to play today. Hockey Canada has been streaming the games. (Follow the link.) Edit: Hockey Canada has the U20 game first. They are correct.
