On Sunday, the NJA U16 lost to Virtua 16U 2-1 in the quarter finals of the Beantown Classic ending the tourney for them. No detail's are apparently available.

Bendorf's line is now 13-3-5-8.

The tweets and announcers said three goals instead of 2 and 1.


Edit: JB was named the #3 Star. (A homer apparently picked them.)


Edit2: He has the hat trick including a PPG now. The stats will be correct on the next post. Also 3 SOGs.

Highlights of both games over the weekend https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7o-mbwd3DRM. The second game including JB's hat trick starts at 4:07. Since there were three goals, IMO it isn't worth including the times for each. He scored WF's 1st, 2nd, and 5th (OT) goals. He is mentioned as scoring the first two, but no name is given on the OT goal. (Amarillo announcer)

On Thursday, the Surrey Eagles defeated the Langley Rivermen 5-3. Cory Babichuk had a goal (PPG) and an assist (PPA). He was named the #2 Star. http://bchl.ca/game-summary?game_id=7370

According to SSM's U16 schedule http://ssmathletics.org/sports/hockey/boys_u16/2016-17/Schedule they are playing the North Jersey Avalanche U16 team, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. However the NJA has league a game Sunday http://www.atlantichockey.org/full_schedule.php?seasonid=23&leagueid=194&teamid=2156. Both are at the same location, so I guess that is what is happening.

There have been numerous tweets about the SSM series. E. g.
