Conger was touted as one of the prized recruits Coach Carvel had coming to Canton. We've now lost a veritable all star team of recruits that could have been the bedrock of many winning seasons and a potential NCAA Frozen Four team if those recruits stayed committed to SLU. Carvel had it going on for us and we've now lost several of those recruits to UMass including Wischow (who some said is better than Hayton) who pitched a shut out and stopped 31 shots in his first collegiate game and win for UMass......Slaker who has an assist for Michigan and several other blue chippers who went back to the USHL including McLaughlin. ****es me right the hell off that Morris couldn't keep any of these kids committed to Saint Lawrence. Don't know if it's intentional but if who was committed came to SLU this year we would have been a legitimate top 10 team in the country and a good shot at the Frozen Four.

I read a lot about him, and I hope that he is as good as touted, but so far he isn't contributed offensively in Waterloo.

I wanted to say he met his Waterloo, but the season is still young. :D

Ralph: Could be the fact he is/was coming off I believe an injury and he did not play hardly at all last year. (Can't remember if it was a shoulder or not.) He was supposed to be at SLU this year but because of the injury everything got pushed back (to your benefit.)

The recruit scoreboard is starting to take on a pattern; Cameron 2 or 3 goals......Cho 1 or 2 assists.....Bendorf no points.....Babichuk/Modry did not dress.:(

FYI, the USHL scoreboard isn’t working for me but you can click on “schedule” & scroll down to Oct.8.....clik on the far box labeled S for the boxscore.

The box score is what I included in the link. Then again, they haven't been updating it often either.
