Still missing a game for Cameron. Conceivably it was postponed. By the way, the major midget T1EHLplayoff schedule has been posted and it does indeed begin on 2/17. The minor midget schedule is only partially available.

Edit: Yes, it starts on 2/17.

Since Payne was born in 1996, he must be a 2017 recruit. That makes 4 new forwards for 2017, Payne, Ohrvall, Stout, and Conger. We are losing three (Borubonnais, Wood, and DeVito). With Burgess hopefully playing and Gillespie perhaps back added to the 12 returnees, that makes 18. I suspect that we won't have that many, so at least one won't be in Troy. This is coupled with a glut of 11 on defense.

Hard to get excited over a 20 yr old (21 in Aug) who doesn’t score much in a League built for scoring. At least he’s not another “Smurf” who also doesn’t score much.

I am not excited. ;)

I suspect that we didn't use much scholarship money on him. He will probably be like Reissinger has been this season, a tall player who plays a few games. I would actually be more worried if we got someone now for the fall who really looks good since such a player would demand more scholarship funds which would mean that someone important is leaving.

OTOH, I would like to see some great players for 2018 and the future. :D

Not much in his overall record to get excited about, but he's got decent size and he's scored 9 goals and 15 points in his last 13 games so perhaps he's adjusted to his current level.

At least I assume it is "out of 5" since I only get their tweets and their site is a pay site. The highest that they have tweeted since I have followed them on Twitter is 4.5, and it would seem a bit odd for 4.5 to be the top ranking. Few players get above 4. Payne is the first RPI recruit whom I have seen tweeted.

(I'm working on the absurdly late pipeline post for WaP.)

You are, of course correct, that there is technically a glut of 5 in goal, but I am pretty sure that we have seen the last of Hackett, and McBain will probably return to the ACHA team.

Tom, is there any chance you can post a link for the recruit spreadsheet on the WAP site? It seems you still update it when I checked a few recruits ago, but haven't linked it in Twitter for awhile. I found very beneficial.

If you've stopped updating it, or can't post the link, no problem. Just thought I'd ask.
