RPI Recruit Thread 2016-17 Part II

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2016-17 Part II

On Sunday, the North Jersey Avalanche Premier U16 team defeated the Connecticut Oilers Elite U16 team 16-0. Matt Cameron did not dress. http://www.atlantichockey.org/game_recap.php?gameid=30310

Cameron's AYHL line is now 15-12-9-21-16.
His total is 41-22-21-43-50.

This ends the AYHL regular season.
Off by one goal. Not my mistake, the National Premier standings shows the NJA had 172 goals, not the 173 in the tweet in post 159. :)

Edit: CT's goalies saved 44 of 50 and 16 of 28 SOGs. That sounds like they gave up 18 goals. I guess that it really doesn't matter. :D

The NJA U16 team (Cameron) has played quite a few games this season against teams neither in the AYHL or the T1EHL. They don't post the box scores, and when I have looked their opponent hasn't either. Yesterday was another vs. Selects Academy (South Kent) U16. Neither team posted this one.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">16's with big road win over #8 <a href="https://twitter.com/SA_SKS_Hockey">@SA_SKS_Hockey</a> 6-1. FWIW, Charlie Manley played on the Selects U16 team in 2011-12.

Do we have a recruit named Wilson? ;)

It does affect whether a recruit comes in. :p

BTW, during the alumni gathering in Ithaca last week, Appert did mention the two players known to sign the NLI. He did say Öhrwall was in the running for the National team, although I don't know how much of that is hype.

Yes, I'm just finding a way around the spam threads. At least it's SOMEWHAT relevant...

It also affects whether I stop posting this summer which is getting more likely.

Not doing the countdown on the other thread?

BTW, I think one of the tags is incorrectly spelled. ;)

Fixed the tag. Thanks for that. I will certainly start the countdown, but as I said it is getting more likely that I won't reach my "goal" in which case "poof".

I don't recall what that goal is, but we would certainly miss all the knowledge you bring to the table.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2016-17 Part II

Austin Cho was named to the OJHL second All-Star Team. http://pointstreaksites.com/view/ojhl/news-21/news_470547

Georgetown Raiders defenceman Austin Cho’s playmaking abilities from the point was one of the key reasons that his club would finish first overall to capture the OJHL regular season title with 94 points. Cho was a member of Team OJHL Oates at the 2016 Eastern Canada Cup All-Star Challenge and he finished the season with 35 assists, fourth in the league among all rearguards, and 43 points in 53 games played. His 14 power play assists ranked fifth among blueliners and Cho is committed to join the RPI Engineers beginning with the 2017-18 season.
