Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2015-16 Part III

I received word from a reliable source that Jon Bendorf has been released by the Madison Capitols. He could be picked up by another USHL team, but will probably go to Wichita Falls (NAHL).

WF's main camp is 7/28-31.

Assuming Cory Babichuk actually will be playing for Penticton, 2017 will be the second straight year that one of recruits will be on the host team for the Western Canada Cup. Charlie Manley and Estevan had that honor in 2016.

Does it include a video of locals doing the swim? ;)

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2015-16 Part III

I have been checking twice each day and will continue to do so, but Perry, Reilly, and Reisinger are still not in the online directory. Hopefully, none are having trouble with at admissions as this might also explain the fact that there has not yet been an official recruit announcement. Since Perry is a transfer from CC, I can't believe he could be in trouble. It might take a bit longer for Reisinger since he is from Austria.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2015-16 Part III

Impressions from the morning skate at the 3rd day of the Red Wings’ summer development camp...... 68 Chase Perry G: The 6'3," 195-pound Perry is slowly but surely starting to put more body parts in front of shots, and as such, Mr. Octopus Goalie's long arms and legs are making more effective saves, though he still flails and flops and splits to make stops, and drops into the butterfly too early. He's going to RPI hoping to play for three more years and develop during those three years, and if he takes advantage of his time there, he will hold a significant amount of promise......http://kuklaskorner.com/tmr/comment...kate-at-the-3rd-day-of-the-red-wings-summer-d

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2015-16 Part III

It's a little late but I snagged my first goalie interview, speaking with Chase Perry regarding the camp, his decision to go back to the BCHL from Colorado College, his status for the upcoming season (still a sophomore, but with junior-level classes), some of the aspects of the game he's working on and his take on the camp, both on and off the ice:..... http://kuklaskorner.com/tmr/comment...t-the-third-day-of-the-red-wings-summer-devel

BTW, in the practice game that’s mentioned in the interview, Perry got the start for Team Lindsay (6-3 win) & played the 1st half (two 25min periods) stopping 12 of 13 shots.

A lot of information in less than three minutes. It sounds like he might want to leave after two seasons even though the other link says he wants to stay three years.
