This one should be a good test to see if JB plays well against a good and big team. This team handled PDS fairly well and PDS beat THS easily (not always a good way to compare) but they are one of the bigger teams around and I am ot sure they have lost a game yet.

That seems like a very small amount of games for this late. AA didn’t play Port. this year but I believe they’re in the same League. Port ledge has produced some very good players recently; Jeremy Bracco, Sonny Milano, Brandon Fortunato & future Kazzy teammate Anthony Florentino. BTW, Alb. Acad. defeated PDS 4-0 & Delb. 4-1 last month. Sorry for Posting absolutely nothing here about our recruits but it’s somewhat cathartic being on this Thread and NOT talking about this past weekend on the other Thread.

The link to Portledge which I posted is currently broken, but their entire sports schedule today has been cancelled according to the calendar here. http://www.portledge.org/pages/4.-programs/athletics/athletics-schedule-results-and-directions

It is possible that Portledge isn't keeping its website up to date and they have played more than 12 games, but as I just posted, let's forget about them. They are history. :D

The CAHA, one of the two leagues which the Los Angeles Junior Kings U16AAA (Modry) belongs to, held their playoffs over the weekend which just passed. http://www.caha.com/view.pl?p=state_playoffs/2016/tierI/2016_states_midget_aaa_16u.htm. The Kings did not participate despite an undefeated record in that league http://www.caha.com/standings.pl?d=13&y=2015&. As of this moment, the Elite League U16AAA playoff schedule has not been posted although the U18AAA schedule is up. http://www.pointstreak.com/prostats/leagueschedule.html?leagueid=1516&seasonid=15325. Judging by last year, they will start on the upcoming weekend.

The schedule is up. From the Pointstreak link above, the Jr. Kings' first game is on Friday vs. Milwaukee.

On Tuesday, the Estevan Bruins defeated the Yorkton Terriers 8-2. Charlie Manley did not dress. http://www.leaguestat.com/sjhl/sjhl/en/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=3291

Manley's line is now 46-1-17-18-6.


That’s the second straight game for which CM did not dress. He’s probably injured.
Edit: A pregame article http://www.discoverestevan.com/local-sports/24829-bruins-and-hounds-clash-for-3rd-time-this-season mentions that he was missing in the last game, but does not give a reason. It sounds like an injury, not a healthy scratch. The other four players mentioned all dressed today.
