Estevan is going to OT tied 5-5. I will post the summary in the AM but besides for the score and if CM got a Star, this is it. Charlie Manley scored his second goal of the year. :) He had a hooking penalty and then a fighting major with a game misconduct. :( (He only had 3 minor penalties before today.)

Saturday’s midget district tourney action.

The LA Jr. Kings U16 team (Modry) lost to the Anaheim Jr. Ducks #2 team 4-3, but they still finished second in their bracket so they play in the semis on Sunday. Still no details.

The Team Comcast U18 team (Bendorf) defeated the Junior Titans 3-2 in their first of two games on Saturday. No details here also. I’ll get the late game in the AM.

Team Comcast U18 lost 7-4 to the Philadelphia Jr. Flyers in its second game on Saturday. The LA Jr. Kings U16 won their semifinal 3-2 over the Anaheim Jr. Ducks #1 team.

Todd Burgess leads the NAHL in points, goals, assists, and PPGs. He is 2nd in PPAs (because one of his linemates gets assists on his PPGs. :) ) He is tied for the lead in SHAs. http://nahl.stats.pointstreak.com/scoringleaders.html?leagueid=164&seasonid=14328

I guess that a question is can he reach 100 points this season. He needs 17 in 9 games which would require him to up his average from 1.53 Pts. per Game.

Stats for the NAHL are on line since 2004/5. The most since then is 95 in 2006/7 by current Edmonton Oiler Patrick Maroon.

Midget hockey tournament report. No box scores are available.

The LA Jr. Kings U16 teams defeated the Alaska Oilers U16 team 5-1 to win the Pacific District Championship.

The Team Comcast U18 team lost to the Jersey Hitmen 7-5 which I imagine ends their season as they finished with a 1-2 record in what is called a qualifying tournament. http://teamcomcastaaahockey.pointst...aahockey/team-comcast/roster-394/schedule-935
