Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2014-15

On Friday, the Trenton Golden Hawks lost to the Wellington Dukes 4-3 in overtime. Brady Wiffen had a goal (PPG), an assist, and a goalie interference penalty. His PPG was scored 15 seconds after he left the penalty box. http://ojhlsite.stats.pointstreak.com/boxscore.html?gameid=2473451

Wiffen's line is now 23-18-18-36-26.

BTW, Buffalo's away game at Milton was cancelled. I guess that they couldn't get out of town.
Trenton plays the Toronto Patriots tomorrow. Also Sioux City plays Tri-City. We don't get many games between recruits with at most two known recruits in a league this season.

Edit: Wiffen was named #2 Star.

I will post the other others summaries in the AM.

Meirs Moore is playing for Victoria http://www.bchl.ca/leagues/hockey_boxscores.cfm?clientID=1413&leagueID=2393&gameID=1358264&link=bchl.
Evan Tironese is again not dressed for AV. http://www.bchl.ca/leagues/hockey_boxscores.cfm?clientID=1413&leagueID=2393&gameID=1358263&link=bchl.
Fairbanks (Burgess) hasn't started yet. http://nahl.stats.pointstreak.com/boxscore.html?gameid=2477084.

A newspaper article http://www.avtimes.net/sports/local/bulldogs-win-one-against-tough-opponents-1.1589320 described ET's injury as week-to-week. BTW, the headline calls him Tiro.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2014-15

St. Andrews College (Cho) has a game at 10 AM on Saturday (and another at 8:15 PM). I will probably be late in posting the first game's results. The box score should be here: http://cisaastats.stats.pointstreak.com/boxscore.html?gameid=2462302. Looking at the games which are scheduled in the CISAA for Saturday http://cisaastats.stats.pointstreak...divisionid=40996&seasonid=12887&date=11/22/14, SAC is hosting three other schools in their new arena, each of which plays two games. They complete the round robin on Sunday.

Edit: Nichols School is in Buffalo. I wonder if they will show up.
Edit2: SAC may be streaming again at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/jenmark.

Charlie Manley offensive heroics don't happen too often, so I will post this http://www.estevanbruins.com/news_article/show/449906?referrer_id=631321

The overtime period saw goalie Tyler Gutenberg tested but not beaten as he made 35 of 39 saves tonight for the Bruins. With under 1:30 left in the period, Pastachak was tripped up by Jake Erickson sending the red hot Bruins powerplay to work. On a play with chances by Allison and Jason Duret, Charlie Manley was able to find a loose puck at the side of the net and shoot it past the sprawling Tremblay to put the final nail in the coffin in this one with a final score of 5-4. Assists went to Allison and Jason Duret.

and http://www.estevanmercury.ca/sports...fter-second-straight-impressive-win-1.1616634

Then Pastachak was tripped again in the slot and this time it resulted in a power play. Jason Duret fired it on net, Keegan Allison lunged forward and it looked like he would poke it in a couple of times, one of them going off the post. Then, with utter chaos in front, the puck skittered back to Manley at the half wall and he wristed it right back and into the net.
