Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2014-15

St. Andrews College played a game starting at 1:45 CST against Edge Midget AAA. It should be over by now. This should be the boxscore http://cisaastats.stats.pointstreak.com/boxscore.html?gameid=2463883 on the CISAA site. There have been no tweets about it so far https://twitter.com/sachockey.

There is however a second box score at the host school which has been stuck late in the first period with SAC leading 5-0 and Austin Cho having no points. http://wssc.csshl.ca/leagues/hockey...919&leagueID=24052&gameID=1399339&link=esdNew

I will post the summary eventually.

Edit: It's 12-0 at the end of the second period. Cho has 3 assists (1 PPA).

....or, the 5’ 5-6” height was taken from old stats.......or, he’s still 5’ 5-6”. As you noted RB there’s very little out there on him.

Just to be correct, the old numbers are 5'4" or 5'5". If he is 5'10" now, I am not nearly as concerned, but growing 5" or 6" in even a year is a lot. Hopefully hab will see him at some point. Even if he quotes heights in cm, I can convert. :)

BTW, too bad that hockeyhound hasn't been seen here since early 2013.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2014-15

On Thursday, St. Andrews College defeated Edge School Midget AAA 13-0. Austin Cho had 3 assists (1 PPA). http://cisaastats.stats.pointstreak.com/boxscore.html?gameid=2463883 or http://wssc.csshl.ca/leagues/hockey...919&leagueID=24052&gameID=1399339&link=esdNew

Cho's line is now 2-0-3-3-2.

Edit: Interesting shot total especially in the first period (29-0 and 51-2 after 2 periods). It looks like SAC's coach told them to hold back in the 3rd except for JD Falconer's double hat trick goal (shorthanded). It also makes sense since SAC plays at 7:45 AM tomorrow. (It says GMT, but I tend to doubt that is correct. :D )

At that rate, he could be Luke Curadi size by the time he makes it to Troy :)
Hope to see you at HFH this weekend.

Okay, I now feel obliged to make the trip in to Calgary on Saturday to watch this guy. Do I also have to take my tape measure? (I think that this Saturday might be his only visit to Calgary this year).

You certainly don't have to go. I can't comment as to whether it is his only trip there since I don't know where all of the teams are. And if you do bring a tape measure, you can ignore DrD's message. :D

Edit: I assume that you mean next Saturday, 11/15, not today. CAC is home today. http://www.amhl.ab.ca/schedule.php?month=11&season_id=3&teamSch=133
On 2/7 and 2/8 they play at two other teams with Calgary in their names. http://www.amhl.ab.ca/schedule.php?month=2&season_id=3&teamSch=133

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2014-15

As I am going to RPI's games, I will be late on reporting results but will certainly do it. I will certainly be late with St. Andrews College's game assuming it is posted on time because it begins at 7:45 AM CST. Here are the links if anyone wants to check what is going on. I hope that I got them all correct. The second SAC link should be updated first.

Hope you get the chance to see him. Take note of who his D-partner is #wise & maybe we can go off that. Also, when he stands next to the goalie and even the goal itself (4’ tall). I envy those that are so close to minor hockey. Sure wish the CD Selects were still here. Seeing a 14 yr. old Jack Eichel (w/Jr. Bruins) still resonates in my memory.
