Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2014-15

We would like to announce that we have signed Charlie Manley. Manley (1996) is a defenseman who was a late cut from the USHL. Manley is an Orchard Park, NY native who recently played with the Austin Bruins of the NAHL. #TheFutureIsHere....https://twitter.com/estevanbruins

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2014-15

This year, I am just going to check the women players' stats every few days and update if anything has been added. I won't always write "missing games". Most teams don't update their pages after every game. For two of the women's recruits I have not found stats. if anyone knows where I can find them, I would appreciate finding out.

Alec Dillon named USHL GOW.... Alec Dillon, G, Tri-City Storm: The 18-year-old goaltender posted a 1.01 goals-against-average and .971 save percentage in a pair of starts for the Storm during the weekend against the Chicago Steel. He stopped all 39 shots he faced, including 18 in the third period, of Friday’s 4-0 victory. It was the first shutout of his USHL career. He then extended his shutout streak for two more periods on Saturday before the Storm allowed two power play goals in the third period of the 2-1 loss to Chicago. He finished the game with 29 saves. Dillon is currently third overall in the USHL in both GAA (1.32) and SV% (.958). The Victoria, British Columbia native was selected by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2014 NHL Draft and is committed to play NCAA hockey at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI).... http://www.ushl.com/news_article/show/435684?referrer_id=1348814

Congrats to AD. I don't recall any of our recruits ever getting one of the weekly USHL awards before.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2014-15

I knew that you would post that before the game ended. I almost psoted it just to beat you, but I didn't want to start a precedent. :)

BTW, the SJHL lists starting lineups, and Manley was a starter.
I hesitated because of what happened when I did that with CF but what the hey. Yes, I saw that w/Manley. Hopefully it will be a fresh start for him there.
