Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2014-15 Part II

There have been a ton of commits the last few days....time we see one here? Yale just picked one up for 2018 this morning. We’re good for 15-16 but I’ld suspect SA has a goalie in mind for ’16-17.

Perhaps he's waiting to see if Kasdorf plays the redshirt season?

I suspect that he has one in mind too, but with Dillon playing as well as he is, he may have troubling convincing whoever it is that he will get playing time.

The tourney SAC (Austin Cho) is playing in starting on Friday will be webcast. It doesn't say if there is a charge. Their first game is at 9:30 AM. They play again in the evening, twice on Saturday, and once on Sunday according to the schedule.

It's free. :) Cho is #19 in white.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2014-15 Part II

I watched the game, and Cho was the standout on the ice. He skates and passes well and has an accurate shot. I can't comment on his defense since St. Francis had no offense. The ice was tilted in SAC's favor the entire game and they won 6-0. It seemed that the team skated at half speed after getting a 4-0 lead after one period -- not a bad idea with four more games through Sunday. (Next game 7 PM this evening.)

There was no PBP announcer or PA announcer, so I not not be sure of the scoring. I gave Cho two goals and an assist. We'll see accurate that is since either goal could have been tipped.

The games were played with three 15 periods with only a few minutes between periods 1 and 2. They cleaned the ice between periods 2 and 3 which made that intermission about normal. The third period was played with a running clock.

The SAC tweet with goals scored should be up soon and the box score -- whenever. :)

Edit: It looks like I was wrong that there would be a tweet soon.

One of the two goals which I thought he scored must have been tipped (the third goal).

The box score will eventually be here: http://cisaastats.stats.pointstreak.com/boxscore.html?gameid=2463850. I will post the summary whenever I see the box score.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2014-15 Part II

The announcers in the second game stated that Cho had two assists in addition to the goal in the first game.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2014-15 Part II

SAC defeated Northwood 3-1 in their evening game. I don't think that Cho had any points, certainly no goals. He did continue to show offensive ability.

The box score will eventually be here http://cisaastats.stats.pointstreak.com/boxscore.html?gameid=2572315.

Two more games tomorrow, the first at 11:30.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2014-15 Part II

On Friday, the Sioux City Musketeers defeated the Sioux Falls Stampede 5-2. Alex Rodriguez did not dress. http://ushlstats.stats.pointstreak.com/boxscore.html?gameid=2470074

Rodriguez's line is now 33-5-9-14-38.

I suspect that Ryan Schwalbe, who plays for Sioux Falls and is a Mankato recruit, is a brother of RPI women's recruit Taylor Schwalbe. She has tweeted about him, and both are from Anchorage. He also played for SSM where Taylor is now.
