Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2014-15 Part II

Just saw that. Spearing. Don’t like that one.

A lot of biased posts here on both sides but it sounds like Wellington was mainly at fault. A poster did say the Wiffen's line saw too much ice time and became ineffective. I did want to write that Wellington had a "beef". ;)

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2014-15 Part II

I will post the other summaries in the AM.

The Toronto Patriots were leading 4-2 when the power went off in the arena after two periods. Jacob Hayhurst had a goal and two assists to this point. :) http://ojhl_site.stats.pointstreak.com/boxscore.html?gameid=2634130.
CAC Gregg Distributors box score will be here http://www.amhl.ab.ca/finalScoresheet.php?sched_id=126&season_id=3.
St. Andrews College won its game its game 6-1, but the box score is not up yet. not even the goals http://cisaa_stats.stats.pointstreak.com/boxscore.html?gameid=2572323. This part of the National Independent Schools Invitational Championship (NISIC) tournament .

I guess that Hayhurst's three points have disappeared.

Reading the comments http://www.network54.com/Forum/2435...nto+teams+can+wrap+up+their+series+tonight... it is truly weird. A home team can just turn off the power when they are losing and the game is completely replayed. We should try that.

Reminds me of the 1999 Disney movie "Genius".

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2014-15 Part II

Considering it's an away game, highly doubtful. May happen in the other direction, though.

I just can't believe they play it over from scratch when it happened after 40 minutes. Perhaps if it happened early in the game or it was tied.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2014-15 Part II

The official rule http://pointstreaksites.com/view/ojhl/news-21/news_288504:

Due to a power outage after the end of the 2nd period of Game 4 of the OJHL South West Conference playoff series between the Toronto Patriots and the St. Michael's Bussers, the game has been rescheduled for 3:00pm today at St. Michael’s Arena.

Under OHA regulations playoff games that are called due to unforeseen circumstances must be replayed in full in the same rink of the cancelled game.

Edit: The St. Michael's Bussers???

On Friday, the Toronto Patriots defeated the St. Michaels Buzzers 8-4. They won the best-of-seven playoff series 4-0. Jacob Hayhurst had two assists. http://ojhlsite.stats.pointstreak.com/boxscore.html?gameid=2638835

Hayhurst's playoff line is now 5-1-8-9-0.
His total is 54-24-40-64-16.

The Patriots were down 4-1 in the second period.
They counted the stats for the game which wasn't completed yesterday. http://ojhl_site.stats.pointstreak.com/playerpage.html?playerid=7148505&seasonid=13942 (see bottom) I will do the same.
