Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2013-14

True but the London Knights have a history of getting players they're after...see Jared Tinordi among others.

London didn't give up much, a 15th round pick and a conditional 5th both two years out, so it doesn't appear that Saginaw saw him as signable. Since London's not taking much of a risk it was probably worth a shot even if they agree.

London thinks that if they sign him, he is of 5th round quality. I suspect that they will make a serious attempt in getting him. As turk wrote, London has a history of getting their man. OTOH, so does SA.

For those of you who followed the WWF in the 90's, The Mountie always got his man....until the Big Boss Man came along....just saying.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2013-14

Kind of wish RB still had the expected year of entry on his sheet, as we could get an idea of if this guy could be looking to sign a NLI.

I still post that once a week (Sundays) as per the suggestion. See post 744.

It's 2014 or 2015. Personally I don't regard those years as too meaningful as we found out last year.

It would give us an idea as to whether or not the player would be signing a NLI.

Yes, the dates would give us an idea if they were reliable, but after last year how can we be sure? If we need two dmen to replace Leboeuf and Dolan, I would expect them to be Wilson and Moore based upon on age and the type of player each is and their size. Although I would be surprised if Wilson were not to appear next fall, I am not nearly as confident about Moore. It's also possible that a current defend coulder leave early, e.g. Bokenfohr who hasn't played yet this year. In any case, I wouldn't bet upon these years which I think are all from Heisenberg. Other sites give different information. Last year I changed the years in my table several times, but it doesn't really seem worth the trouble.

Re: RPI Recruit Thread 2013-14

Good to see them both listed. IIRC Reno and Melanson were on the earlier list as well as some lists for last year's draft.
Correct about Melanson. I probably shouldn't had written, "initial" or have put Reno's name here (again) ;)
