It's improved. Wood has had a couple of penalties. The announcers, however, are quite uninformed. They apparently don't realize that the game is being played as two 25 periods. They think there are three.


Edit: Yes, the game is over. :) 5-0 Lincoln over Green Bay.

I've been trying to just focus on the ice rather than listening to the announcers.....4 minutes of talking about some tape they made a couple of years ago that they sent to the LA Kings was a bit too much. Looked like Jake was playing on the same line with Devito.

Smart move on your part. I think these are UMD announcers. If so, I would hate to have to listen to them every week.

I must admit to being spoiled by the teams we have had announce on WRPI. The hockey broadcasts are very good-the football is exceptional. Sometimes I just forget how good until I try to listen to others.

The USEHL site is still under construction so it doesn't look good for Select Hockey boxscores in at least the near future.

He won't gain any weight skating that much. ;) Seriously, he and Melanson excite me the most among our recruits. Both appear to have a lot of upside potential. (I am leaving Manley out of that equation since I know virtually nothing about him. I would think that if South Kent wants to become the Shattuck of the east, they would have more info on line also.)

You could be spot on about Tironese. When I was talking with one of the coaching staff about several future players, ET was the one he was most excited about.
