I am looking forward to posting my first short summaries, probably tomorrow morning as Alberni Valley and Selects are playing. (Also preseason Cedar Rapids game.)

I apologize to myself for going further offtopic.

Since you have averaged more posts per day since you joined, linear extrapolation predicts that you will eventually catch up. The expected date is 12/13/2033 using DrD's total of 35,540 and yours of 14,441.

Obviously linear extrapolation doesn't hold, but ...

I'm going to cross-post this since we now have a recruit thread.

In case anyone wants to take a trip to Eastern Ohio (I would assume most RPIers wouldn't want to go further west unless they're going to see St. Cloud or Mankato), Youngstown's home games against our teams of interest:

Lincoln - 26 Oct (bye week for the men, women are in the North Country)
Omaha - 28 Sep (neither RPI team has started)
Cedar Rapids - 29 Mar (HOPEFULLY we're still playing), 30 Mar (also during Regionals)

Also for the St. Cloud weekend (remember the games are Thursday and Friday), Saturday's games have Cedar Rapids at home vs. Waterloo, while Omaha and Lincoln are home vs. Tri-City and Sioux City, respectively.

Anyone thinking about going out to Youngstown in 3 weeks?

Huh?????? I could not find the linear extrapolation scale on my old K & E slide rule. Besides, now that i know that you have predicted the end of the world for 12/13/2033 (the Ralph Baer calender is far more accurate than the Mayans were) I might have to adjust my post rate.:eek:

it looks like there won't be any boxscores for these games RB. I'm assuming The Selects Academy team is under CCYHA U-16 SHA .....http://www.pointstreak.com/players/players-division.html?divisionid=59838&seasonid=9670

On Friday, the Alberni Valley Bulldogs lost to the Langley Rivermen 7-3. Evan Tironese had 2 assists (one on a PPG) and a roughing penalty. http://www.bchl.ca/leagues/hockey_boxscores.cfm?clientID=1413&leagueID=2393&gameID=1101284&link=bchlgameid=1660614[/url]

Tironese's line is now 1-0-2-2-2.

It looked over. :o I must have looked at it while they were still adding information. His penalty was up, but a goal scored earlier in the third period wasn't.

Anyway, it seems to be a good start for ET. Alberni Valley appears to have a poor team this season having also lost two preseason games 8-2.

I am not going to keep track of the post number of the previous game this season. That was only useful to me, and I stopped using it much myself in the middle of last year.
