On Wednesday, the Alberni Valley Bulldogs defeated to the Victoria Grizzlies 3-2 in overtime. Evan Tironese had three assists. They won the best of five playoff series 3-2. http://www.bchl.ca/leagues/hockey_boxscores.cfm?clientID=1413&leagueID=2393&gameID=1198366&link=bchl
Tironese's line is now 10-2-8-10-18.
His total is 61-21-46-67-80.

You had me concerned there for a second that I got the date wrong in the previous post.
It's interesting how the BCHL deals with having three divisions. Two of them (the Mainland and Island, called Coastal together) have first round and finals each best of five while the third (Interior) plays a best of seven first round. Then the two Coastal Divisions play a best of seven while the Interior has its finals. I guess that it has a lot to do with the fact that the Interior teams are far away.

On Friday, the Lincoln Stars defeated the Sioux City Musketeers 3-2. Jimmy DeVito had a checking from behind penalty with a misconduct. Jake Wood had a tripping penalty.
