Had that info hours ago-it was the early game here followed by the two public school games. Both Hagerty and Melnick looked very good I was told. Still have no clue where Hagerty is going. Melnick of course is going Ivy League. Delbarton has just so much more than most of the other NJ teams. I lost interest in the public bracket when my local Brick High team lost in the quarters. They have one really top notch scorer in Andrew Reiss. Saw him score 7 in one game this year. He is another one to watch-but again the competition level around here has not been stellar.

We have seen the MacLean kid a few times. he is a big kid-and will get much bigger as he has the kind of frame you can hang 220 pounds on easily. He stick handles well, he shoots well, but he is just not the skater that most of the Delbarton boys are. If he can improve his speed and quickness he will be a big talent.

On Saturday, the Lincoln Stars defeated the Fargo Force 6-5 in overtime. Jimmy DeVito had no points or penalties. Jake Wood had no points or penalties. Riley Bourbonnais had a slashing penalty. http://ushl2011.stats.pointstreak.com/boxscore.html?gameid=1978248

DeVito's line is now 48-6-8-14-99.
Wood's line is now 49-11-15-26-138.
Bourbonnais' Lincoln line is now 20-6-6-12-12.

On Saturday, Edina H.S. defeated Hill-Murray H. S. in the finals of the Minnesota State AA tourney 4-2. This ends their season. Parker Reno had two assists. http://www.mnhockeyhub.com/game/game_sheet/4892326

Reno's line for the Minnesota State AA tourney is now 3-0-3-3-0.
His total is 31-2-21-23-23.

after a very slow start Melanson has surpassed Jake Wood in scoring,,,,, not that either one is lighting it up. As Doc Emerick might say, probably means nothing, so why did I just waste time saying it :)

Even with yesterday's penalty, I don't think that he will catch up in penalties. ;)
