Should be a tough match but not as difficult as BC. BC is virtually an NHL farm club with high level skill and talent. Providence is very good NCAA team and we will have our hands full but we should be competitive.

They need to stop taking stupid penalties and stay out of the box, then we have a chance.

This comment made me think of Jakob Lee... Anyone know what his status is? I was hoping he'd get some game time ahead of the start of the ECAC season.

I think we may need George Servinis. ;-)

RPI women down 3-0 to Harvard after 15 minutes. They have played short-handed for 9 minutes.

You get the feeling that the girls would be playing even if not for the penalties. The killer so far was the 5 minute major which allowed for 2 PP goals against. If we stay out of the box perhaps we can mount a bit of a comeback.

Kaiser from Bailey and the women Engineers are now just down by 1 with three minutes left in the second.

Phillip makes it 4-3 RPI with 2 minutes left! They have totally dominated Harvard since the first period.

Nyah Phillip, breakaway goal in OT, and for second day in a row the women overcome a 3-0 deficit to win in OT.

OK- I am just getting too old for this kind of excitement. The girls are going to have to start off by getting the early goals and holding the lead so i do not have to go through this all the time. What an incredible weekend! Coming back from 3 goals down each game and winning both in OT. Please have our boys' team watch the tapes of these games and learn how to win 60+% of their face offs!!
Going to be a nice bus ride home to Troy for this team.
