HF writeup on minor league prospects including JD'a http://www.hockeysfuture.com/articl...iverse_group_of_players_at_minorleague_level/.

Jerry D'Amigo, LW, 20

After spending a chunk of his season with the Marlies, just to be sent to Kitchener (OHL) in the New Year, D'Amigo has played with more confidence this season. He's received great praise from Head Coach Dallas Eakins due to his ability to adjust to any role he's assigned to, and make those around him better. Not only has D'Amigo provided strong supporting offense, but he's been one of the team's strongest two-way players due to his skating and work ethic. As mentioned above, D'Amigo has been all over the lineup, and has continued to play a consistent hard-working game. He has already surpassed his point totals from all of last season in only 26 games (he played in 43 last season). He has seven goals, 10 assists, and a plus-four through 30 games.

Jeff Foss with the primary assist on the winning goal for Cinncy....looks like all heck broke loose at the 15:48 mark of the 2nd period http://echl.com/stats/game-summary.php?game_id=8974

That's ridiculous. Not only did Lutz take two game misconducts at the same time, but DiDiomete took his game misconduct while he was already in the box for a 10-minute unsportsmanlike conduct. I wonder if video of the fight will go up.

Here's a clip, no sound though.

DiDiomete was a fan favorite in Hartford a few seasons ago for being good at not much besides causing trouble and fighting. This isn't surprising to me in the least.

Allen York to see his playing time increased with Springfield?......http://www.masslive.com/sports/index.ssf/2011/12/goalie_allen_york_likely_to_se.html

It is about time. If you have a young goaie with NHL potential, it seems pointless to sit him while a 38 year old plays the bulk of the games. It might seem good for the team, but makes no sense to the organization.
If York plays himself out of the position, that is one thing. But playing him behind someone with no place to go just doesn't make sense to me.
