RPI Pick-To-Click 2021-2022

Bounce back week for both me and RPI…

Friday:
RPI- Jake Johnson
SUNY Ithaca- Ben Berard

Freakout (sort of):
RPI- T.J. Walsh
Crest- Pierson Brandon

Friday
RPI ENGINEERS: JUSTIN ADDAMO
weird that their only team color is white: Ondrej Psenicka

BIG RED FREAKOUT!
RPI ENGINEERS: JAKE JOHNSON

puts holes in teeth: Elliott McDermott

RPI fan 4 life perfectly emulated the team with a huge night on Friday followed by nothing good on Saturday. Good for him.

Jakub Lacka (2-1–3; no one) and Jake Johnson (1-1–2; RPI fan 4 life) both put up 5 PtC point performances in RPI's (somewhat misleading) blowout of Cornell. The [nickname redacted] did the boring thing where a couple people were worth 2 points, and RPI fan 4 life picked one of them (Ben Berard).
Saturday's festivities were somewhat spoiled by an inability to convert chances, though a pair of RPI defensemen not known for scoring did light the lamp, and we're very happy for Mason Klee and Jack Agnew. The other team did the boring thing too and we didn't pick them.

Sorry, Sezenack, that I picked three of the same players whom you picked. That will probably result in someone catching you. :-)

Btw Lugnut, I am just a “he”, not a “them”….

tonight:
RPI- T.J. Walsh
CODS- Luke Krys

tomorrow:
RPI- Jakub Lacka
Harvard rejects- Briggs Gammill

He's not there yet, but RPI fan 4 life is making a hell of a run for the top spot with another big weekly win.

Ryan Mahshie and Anthony Baxter got the Engineers on the board with a pair of second period goals and led RPI to victory, and we rewarded them with no picks. Michael Maloney (1-0–1; lugnut92) and Luke Krys (0-1–1; sezenack, Ralph Baer, RPI fan 4 life) made futile attempts to undo our victory but ultimately failed because they are losers.
Saturday night saw a weak offensive effort from the men in cherry met by a weak picking effort here, where three RPI skaters earned 2 PtC points and we chose none of them: Justin Addamo (1-0–1), Shane Sellar (1-0–1), Anthony Baxter (0-1–1). Briggs Gammill (RPI fan 4 life) hung up a pair to earn Yale the season sweep and we hate him for it.

Friday vs Dartmouth
Dartmouth: Clay Stevenson
RPI: Justin Addamo

Saturday vs Harvard
Harvard: Matt Coronato
RPI: Jake Johnson

Oh stupid me. I thought I couldn't pick Abruzzese and Coronato was good. Change to Ian Moore

Yeah it's obnoxious because of how CHN sorts, but Coronato is ineligible by virtue of having more goals (11-10–21 vs. Abruzzese's 5-16–21). I had to double check what my rules were because obviously Abruzzese wins on points per game but the intro post clearly says goals is the tiebreaker. Thanks for catching that Ralph (I missed that ehf had picked an ineligible player last week but luckily that player did not score).
Friday
RPI ENGINEERS: JACK WATSON
if it's big and green...: Jeff Losurdo

Saturday - Senior Night
RPI ENGINEERS: JAKUB LACKA
society rejects: Sean Farrell

The regular season is over and sezenack has come back with a vengeance to reassert a sizeable lead over second place.

Justin Addamo (sezenack) tied up the game in the third period and netted an insurance tally to lead RPI to the season sweep over Dartmouth. A veritable clown car of skaters earned two points for Dartmouth, including but not limited to Braiden Dorfman (Ralph Baer) and Ian Pierce (engineerhockeyfan).
Only Jakub Lacka (lugnut92, RPI fan 4 life) was eligible among RPI scorers to be selected, so he was the best choice with an assist on the lone goal. The Crimson were a bit more active, as Zakary Karpa (no one) and Ian Moore (sezenack) led the way.
