Re: RPI Pick to Click 2014-15: Under New Management

Congrats to my amazing predecessor burgie12 on his win this week, his third of the season. Also, congrats to me for taking the overall lead from FlagDUDE08.

Matt Neal (engineerhockeyfan) had a breakout game against Colgate, scoring two goals and an assist in the 4-1 win. For the Raiders, Kevin Lough (no one) led the way with Colgate's only goal. Jason Kasdorf (no one) earned the Quality Start, but picking him on Friday wasn't the best use of the goalie.
Saturday saw RPI's first shutout of the season, and Jason Kasdorf (burgie12) did the work to be the Engineer's best player on the ice. The best skater in the Cherry and White was Jared Wilson (no one) with a goal. None of the Big Carnelian were worth anything. I've been waiting a while to say that about an opponent.

Link back to the first post with details on scoring

The ECAC schedule will have to wait, as RPI has some business to deal with at the Times Union Center. RPI has already won the season series (and the Capital Skates Trophy) with the Union Dutchmen by sweeping them back in October/November, but the owner of the Mayor's Cup has yet to be determined. Let's keep the win streak going and crush the Dutchmen!

Picks must be in by 7:30 ET on Saturday.

You may NOT choose the following players for this weekend:
RPI: Jacob Laliberte and Curtis Leonard
Union: Daniel Ciampini and Jeff Taylor

Statistics and Rosters
RPI: Statistics | Roster
Union: Statistics | Roster (Note: Kevin Shier is no longer a member of the Union Dutchmen)

RPI: Melanson or Laliberte, whichever is eligible. If by some chance I am totally confused and both are eligible, let's go with Melanson.
#26: Vecchione
