Congratulations again to FlagDUDE, who proves that it's never too early to give up hope on your team.
Scott Diebold blanked the Bears on Friday, turning in an impressive performance. The Engineers' scoring came from a variety of sources with no player picking up multiple hockey points, causing a logjam at 2 PtC points for most valuable skater. Jacob Laliberte, Mark Miller, and Zach Schroeder had the goals while Bo Dolan and Curtis Leonard each had assists. Laliberte was picked by ehf and RPI fan 4 life while cnor picked up a point by using Neal's assist. No one else scored a point on Friday.
Saturday, it was the Bulldogs' turn to shut out their opponent. Alex Lyon (FlagDUDE) was in net for the whole game, earning 5 PtC points. Frankie DiChiara (nobody) and Mike Doherty (RPIHFH) each had a goal and an assist while Ryan Obuchowski (cnor79, Ralph Baer, and vizoroo) scored the fifth and final goal for 3 PtC points each.
Ralph regained a one-point lead over lugnut in the overall standings. The fight for third is fierce with just five points separating ehf from RPIHFH and rsfs04 in 8th. viz seems poised to climb past RKarger and cnor made some progress, but didn't catch me, even with me forgetting to submit picks. TuteScrooge found himself with 0 points for the first time this season, ending his streak at 18 consecutive.
Remember, this could be the final week of the season, so don't miss out on any opportunities to overtake your neighbors. Be adventurous!
