Third impression-so far, this entire period, we seem to be simply playing not to lose as opposed to trying to win or score. We are perpetually backing up and back checking. Not sure if this is by coach's desire or not. Would like to see if this coach makes some sort of adaptation between periods.

Sounds like an Appert team. I'm sure Smith will change this.

I might have missed a shot or two, but I hink we took about 3-5 shots on goal this first period. We are not going to have much scoring offense with that kind of number.

Same energy? I am not sure i saw any energy. They played the period like they were sitting on a 3-0 lead. Now perhaps that is wise so early in the season as you just do not want to fall behind early. let's see if this coach, unlike the previous one, can make some adaptations between periods and we come out with a little more oomph!

I talked about this with Jespar. Problem is no one plays center. Was gonna call it the, “Tre Kronar Line” but......
