Fortunately, for those of us who follow the women's team, the wait is not quite so long....;). I'm tempted to go to their first games in N.D. and Minnesota.

Thinking about the number of days left, I wonder when the roster is coming out. (I say that every year.) If Gillespie keeps 87 or Prapavessis 77, I will have to mention them soon.

SA is assisting at the Red Wings' camp http://kuklaskorner.com/tmr/comments/red-wings-summer-development-camp-2014-day-1. Interesting. There are several ECAC players there but none from RPI. (The list is down a ways on the link.) I suspect that NCAA rules would preclude him from being there if RPI players were participating.

Interesting. Dont know that I recall reading of D1 coach assisting in an NHL Dev camp...tho I'm sure it's happened. Seth of course goes way back with Griffs coach Blashill to Ferris days....but what if Blaze is recruiting Seth to join his staff ? : p. Gotta give Ralph something to fret about. ....:))

Can't blame SA for doing that as it opens doors after several posters fire him.

Hey kids - I'm looking to fill A 2ND foursome for the golf outing and am one body short. If anyone is interested, drop me a line....no pressure golf with our crowd, just enough skill to keep it interesting and the rest of us play the "ringers" tee shot !

Forget it, I couldn't golf if you paid me.

Re: RPI Offseason Thread: Six Languages of Drivel

For a random weekend in Denver in October anybody have suggestions for hotels, dining, tickets things to do, where the team stays, or if you need a car? Thanking you in advance.

I haven't lived in Denver for quite awhile, so I would also qualify as a tourist looking for info.:o :)

Denver has a light rail system with a stop at DU. Lines go to Mile High, Pepsi Center, LoDo, , downtown, Tech Center, etc. Depending on what hours you keep, it is possible to go without car in town.

For all the latest news, not covered by the Denver Post, the free, weekly, alternative news can be found
in Westword. Where to eat, drink and be "merry". (Up to date list and review of all "dispensaries" in Denver. Yes, there is one in walking distance of the DU Campus.)

No rail from airport yet. Under construction now between DIA and Unipn Station. Won't be done til 2016. Interesting from a public works project as it is a design build partnership with private vendor who gets 30+ year concession rights
