Re: RPI Offseason Thread: 7 Months of Drivel

FWIW, the RPI 1985 team defeated the 2000 North Dakota team 5-4 in Fighting Sioux 23's computer simulation. See posts 446 and 447 at http://board.uscho.com/showthread.php?103607-Top-100-Greatest-Teams-of-the-NCAA-era-Tournament. They rallied from a 4-2 deficit close to midway in the third period. Needless to see recent RPI teams are usually on the other side of such scenarios. Goals by Oates, DiPronio, Hammond, Butryn, and Servinis.

That's great, but how did they fair in the Starcraft tournament?

Wouldn't that be posted in the alumni thread?? :)
Just kidding...

Re: RPI Offseason Thread: 7 Months of Drivel

Bo Dolan & Matt Tinordi have both signed contracts with the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL.

Re: RPI Offseason Thread: 7 Months of Drivel

I believe that leaves Johnny Rogic as the only senior still hanging out in Troy and not playing pro hockey yet, yes?

Re: RPI Offseason Thread: 7 Months of Drivel

Today is 20 March 2014. There are 198 days until RPI's next game.

This is based upon 4 October 2014 for the start of next season.

Re: RPI Offseason Thread: 7 Months of Drivel

Great salesman. Sold the AD a contract extension with a losing record. I am disappointed that RPI didn't play last weekend or this weekend but I have my rose colored glasses on for next season. I will attend all the games in the boston area and listen or watch all of the other games as I have since 1963. Go red. Go ECAC. Nice feedback from Worcester Sharks season ticket holders.
