Re: RPI Offseason Part II: Mindless Drivel.

Today is 15 July 2013. There are 82 days until RPI's next game.

This is based upon 5 October 2013 for the start of next season.

Re: RPI Offseason Part II: Mindless Drivel.

Wound up on a bunny trail and found this (who told them he's from Mich.) Luke Curadi, a 6’5” 247lb free agent invitee and Michigan native, made his presence known with his size alone. He’s listed as a defensemen, but spent most of his time at camp on wing, and in the opposing goaltender’s kitchen. He’s two teeth too many to be confused for Bryan Bickell, but the similarities are most certainly there. He’s a banger on the boards, and a pest in front of the net, and his size is definitely an asset Stan Bowman should consider pocketing for a rainy day. Shout out to @puckinhostile for opening my eyes to this kid...... http://midwaymadness.com/2013/07/2013-blackhawks-prospect-camp-rewind/
Such a great report on Luke...what a great off-season boost, not to mention the skill improvement opportunity. Great job BRO! I'm not reading too terribly much into his play at forward - the Hawks did it with several d-men in camp including Chelios and Zajac - though I sure as heck love it!

Absolutely - fantastic report. Got me to thinking about a BRO-Diesel-Bubela line and what fun THAT would be !! As for the lady....I'm kinda intrigued but almost all of them so definitely in the game, but also jaded by living in Europe for a year and then being in NYC for the past 14. Its like going to the zoo (a lot of very tall, interesting / mesmerizing creatures to gaze at). ;)

Try spending a year when you are in your mid 20's as the cosmetic surgical consultant to the Eileen Ford Modeling Agency.

One can always go window shopping without buying anything. Nice to see what new models are available even when not in the market for anything currently. ;)

I have always done a lot of that(window shopping). It makes me really appreciate what I have already bought.

Please tell me that in your "consultant" role, that you were doing more window dressing than window shopping. I'm living vicariously with the thought...

While Doc's work experience is enviable, I've always wanted to be the "powder" guy who has the rough task of dusting off the derrieres of the SI swimsuit models on those hot days on the beach...a tough job to be sure.:D

Re: RPI Offseason Part II: Mindless Drivel.

Interesting that they included Bourbonnais' playoff stats, but not his teammates DeVito and Wood. Also no mention of RB playing on two other teams, and DeVito didn't have 233 penalty minutes, just 113. 233 is his total for the last two years. Lastly, Reno -- oh nevermind. ;)

I do add that Soffer's game total could be correct since in the RPI article that EJHL lists games dressed, not played in.

I'm sure most of you have caught it already, but for those who haven't, Without A Peer has their report on the newcomers. A must read...

must be the Twitter world some live in....140 characters or less. The official release did seem small and somewhat wrong.
