tomorrows Calgary Flames scrimmage to be shown live (Calgary time). Calgary Flames ‏@NHLFlames 4m

Wound up on a bunny trail and found this (who told them he's from Mich.) Luke Curadi, a 6’5” 247lb free agent invitee and Michigan native, made his presence known with his size alone. He’s listed as a defensemen, but spent most of his time at camp on wing, and in the opposing goaltender’s kitchen. He’s two teeth too many to be confused for Bryan Bickell, but the similarities are most certainly there. He’s a banger on the boards, and a pest in front of the net, and his size is definitely an asset Stan Bowman should consider pocketing for a rainy day. They just copied the hometown from the previous person on the roster.

All this from a kid who some said was too slow to play defense in college. His value seems to be growing daily.
Good for Luke and not too bad for babo either.

game is on...Leonard is #98 in Red. This female color announcer will have FD drooling :D

I am colorblind, and it looks to me like both teams are wearing the same uniforms. :eek:

You can work on so many aspects of your game to improve. Luke has the things you just cannot ever teach. The future is so bright we might have to be wearing shades. As far as where he could play-where does a 500 pound gorilla get to skate? Anyplace he wants to. Would be fascinating if SA does some of this experimenting this coming year.

With a 34-game season, you can't really afford too much experimentation outside of practice. Maybe our exhibition game, but that's to the extent of what we get to see. That'd certainly be interesting to at least try in practice. And although they say they don't have the opportunity to view these boards, something tells me they get some ideas here... perhaps AspyDad has a hand in that... ;)

She wouldnt salivate over you either buddy, your not a hockey player....someone needs to get to Johnny Hockey and warn him about girls like her unless he likes giving 50% of his salary to her. :)
