Re: RPI Off-Season Thread 2011: There Will be a Title Here Next Season

The Devils actually average about 3100 people/game, not too shabby for their first year in the area!
ACTUAL ARSES IN THE SEATS.....not tix sold. Friends & I would always get a kick out of looking at the box-score the day after attending a Devil's game and seeing, att; 3,100 or 2,500 or whatever # knowing there was probably 1/2 that. I hope it can get back to the days in the early/mid 90's where there WERE 10-12,00 in the arena.

In this economy you won't see that unless they give the tickets away and maybe even reimburse attendees for gas mileage;) People are simply cutting back where they can.

Re: RPI Off-Season Thread 2011: There Will be a Title Here Next Season

Today is 23 April 2011. There are 161 days (23 weeks) until RPI's next game.

This is based upon 1 October for the start of next season.

That is the day that an exhibition game is supposedly scheduled.

Sorry about yesterday. :o

Wow, now a report is out that Greg Cronin is leaving Northeastern. Ive never seen so many head coaching changes in one off season before.

Well, last year had we seen so many players being poached from college, especially late in the offseason, to join the pros?

Also reported by USCHO. Still shocked that Roll got tossed and that Leaman left Union. It will be interesting to see how the standings shake out next season.

Funny, I hear Rick Jeanneret calling the game. ;)

When will the Wheel of HC Fortune stop spinning?!

I too am a bit surprised by Roll and Leaman. Next year should be quite interesting
