Conner Hellebuyck may be our insurance policy to keep Kasdorf for four years.
He has had a great year and is still playing. 5th round draft choice of the Jets could get the call before Jason.

Re: RPI Off-Season 2013 Part I: We Will Get Our Title Next Season

According to my calculations (which conceivably are wrong), this year's seniors are the first to finish with a combined winning record over four years since the Class of '04.

I've got them at exactly .500 over four years, with 68 wins, 68 losses, and 17 ties. Unless USCHO is wrong. This would make them the first team without a losing record since '04. I think your calculations are right, just your wording is wrong. Like any good engineer:D

Using College Hockey Stats:

2013: 18-14-05 12-07-03
2012: 12-24-03 07-12-03
2011: 20-13-05 11-09-02
2010: 18-17-04 10-09-03
TOTL: 68-68-17 40-37-11

They are the first to finish with a combined winning record in the conference over four years since probably the class of 2002. We had only four wins in conference in 02-03.

Wont be able to attend the banquet, I will be on the way to Boston for the annual Earth Day Pub Crawl I partake in each year. But, Im sure you will all have fun and provide details on who gets what award and whatnot. And Im not going to lie, I miss hearing AspyDad enlighting the refs already. :) Its going to be a long off-season.

I had an error in my file for 2010-11.

I had an error in my file for 2010-11.

BTW, this means that I was one off in the total number of games that we have played. I have that we are 997 + 881 + 119 = 1997 games. Earlier I had one fewer loss.

I had gone back through all the media guides I had from over the years-interestingly I got different totals for wins an dlosses in some years. I am sticking with the numbers we have gotten from Kurt. It would be very nice to start next season with 3 wins so we hit 2000 and 1000 on the same night:)

Re: RPI Off-Season 2013 Part I: We Will Get Our Title Next Season

Could we get 2 ECAC teams in the FF? That would sure shut up the critics...

Re: RPI Off-Season 2013 Part I: We Will Get Our Title Next Season

Yale is just playing phenomenal hockey right now and has beaten 2 very good and highly ranked teams. Seems earlier this year there was a team that outscored them 10-2 in a two game series;)

Re: RPI Off-Season 2013 Part I: We Will Get Our Title Next Season

Hello to all constituents here.
After much consideration, I must announce my leaving this board.
Past happenings have led me to this inevitable decision.
Please note that this has nothing to do with anyone personally.
You have all been a great inspiration to me.

At this time, there are a few that I'd like to thank.
Please allow for this one moment of humility.
RPI has been an absolute inspiration to us all.
It has been an absolute privilege to enjoy her greatness.
Lasting memories will always be kept in my heart.

First, I would like to thank Without a Peer for their fine commentary.
In addition, AspyDad for his bombastic crusade against the ECAC officials;
Ralph Baer for his statistical dedication to this program;
Seth Appert finally for once again reigniting the program to national prominence.
Thank you all for your time.
