RPI Off-Season 2013 Part I: We Will Get Our Title Next Season

Re: RPI Off-Season 2013 Part I: We Will Get Our Title Next Season

No controversy here-I have been a Ranger guy since 1953. I still have my Camille Henry shirt, my Andy Bathgate hat and my a picture of my sister with Jean-Guy Gendron(player that she had a crush on). I love the fact that Adam has completely turned around the year for the Capitals. Now, I am hoping for a Ranger sweep and then some rest for the next round. Getting deep into the playoffs is all about having an easy time in the first and perhaps second round. These games are murder-these series can just drain everything from you. Even when the Rangers last won the cup-they were extremely fortunate to have 2 easy series before getting the Devils. Saying all that-I hope the Rangers can lure Oates away and get him to NY to coach. I wonder how much of an impact it makes to not have Marc Staal in the line up?

I think the Blueshirts will be tough to beat. Nash has been a beast and King Henry will be the difference.

Today is 30 April 2013. There are 158 days until RPI's next game.

This is based upon 5 October 2013 for the start of next season.

They did look good down the stretch-but remember-they did not play any real top rated teams in that timeperiod. They did not match up well with Pittsburgh all year and Montreal gave them fits. I agree about Nash and Henrik can just steal a series for them-but, so many of the 16 teams that made the playoffs look strong this year and every series will be a physical battle. It may just turn out to be the survival of the fittest-and the last team still standing as the winner. Hard to imagine-the run to the cup could last almost as long as the season. I love this time of year as we get the most exciting physical style of hockey and every game played to a conclusion with sudden death. Just my opinion, of course, but every other major sport pales in comparison when it comes to the excitement of the playoffs.

I actually fear the Islanders more than the Rangers this year. Lundquist has looked very human. Maybe he gets hot but if not then I see the Caps in 6.

Puck movement by Washington on the PP is really something to see. I only wish Oates could come back to Boston and teach the B's how to run a PP.

Hahahahahah, and if Henrik was very human, what was Nabokov?

And will, no doubt, be back in class at the Tute on September 9th. :)

If anything, the wedding being in September, in NYS (at least according to that registry site), is just the ticket we need to know where he will be spending next year. Rest assured, marauders of the lost Pirri, a wedding is not always a bad thing. :)

If it's any consolation Ralph, when Hilary Clinton visited campus, she said that the hill by the library overlooking Troy is one of the most romantic spots in the the state.

Just in case anyone was curious, Kazzy's tying the knot September 7th. http://registry.theknot.com/jason-kasdorf-stacey-enns-september-2013/2762057

No report will be made on the reception menu.
I shudder to think how you found this...definitely don't want to know. Interesting date --the lads are typically back on campus in late August, so Kaz will either be late arriving, or will have to fly home to tie the knot. I can hear Ralph worrying already.:D

Edit: Scratch that -- I read further to see the wedding will be in NY. RB exhaling now....

You shudder over simple Google searches?

RB had been told long ago not to worry about this. :p
