I know our defense supposedly has good size-but not seeing it tonight. We are being outmuscled and ND is just setting up in our zone as if they are on a perpetual power play. Truthfully, we are fortunate the score is not considerably worse. This is not the defense I have seen in soome of the other games

I'm watching the game on the Notre Dame website, and it doesn't seem that they're making any use of these TV timeouts, if that's what they are.

They don't run any commercials or anything. The announcers just go silent, and all we see on the video is alternating pictures of players and fans doing nothing but waiting for the resumption of play.

Is somebody other than Notre Dame televising the game?

It's not all horrible-Merriam has made a few really tough saves. Otherwise, I cant find much good to say about our play tonight.

Absolutely agree. We also don't seem to be skating with them either, and not aggressive on the puck. This is not what I have seen in other games either.

FDude - I not saying can't be done, but more stealing a game than winning or dominating one. You cannot consistently win games like that. If not mistaken while we lost other games, we weren't outshot 2-1 (thinking the MSU game).

Do I remember media timeouts being standardized for all games?

Oh, BTW, Sheahan just scored on the PP for ND to make the score 4 - 1.

Just seems like we have zero forecheck today. And our defense has no answer for the ND forecheck. This one has been no contest after the first period. We have not made any adjustments and ND has.
