RPI@Northeastern 11/27/21

Lots of up and down action. i counted 3-4 very good chances for each team. Similar to Friday in that the game seems to just fly by without many whistles or stoppages.
 
Sort of like Friday night’s first period. Except this time nobody scored.
WRPI radio coverage is about a minute ahead of NESN
 
Really good period for the Engineers. They were good in all three zones. But with two great scoring opportunities stopped by Levi, I don't know how we are going to get one passed him.
Marshall stopped everything they threw at him also, so goals are going to come a premium.
Just keep doing what we did in the first period, and maybe we can get rewarded.

We did overpass on one of thos3e chances and had a virtually open net to score before passing. But must admit he intimidates a player into trying to have to make that one extra perfect pass. If we can just keep putting pucks on him with someone in front, he will leave a rebound sooner or later and perhaps we can take advantage. Marshall has been spotless so far and will need to be for the entire game as this has all the makings of another low scoring game.
 
In some other news, first listing of point spread for next week's RPI foot ball game show us very little respect against North Central. Appears we could be 26 point underdogs! Then again we are playing the consensus number 1 team in the country that has scored over 50 points in most of their games this year.

Of course I agree but SUNY was not the number 1 ranked team by a long shot. North Central has just blown everyone away. We will need another error free game and a grand display by our defense.
 
Another great period for the Engineers.
Probably the best 40 consecutive minutes the team has played this year.
We just need to keep doing what we are doing.

I wonder how long into the third it will be before we get called for one? This has been a fast skating but clean game. Not sure if I have seen anything that would qualify as a call that should have been made.
