RPI @ MSU-M (Friday, 10/19/12)

Re: RPI @ MSU-M (Friday, 10/19/12)

Game ends in a 3-3 tie. I might have taken that if offered before the game, but with a two goal lead in the third period, we gave one away.
Lessons to be learned.

We better come back ready to play hard tomorrow. We could have kept this game.

EHF: yes. Now, on to tomorow. Lessons to be learned... let's see how we respond.

You only need to look back a year to see that lessons are already being learned and absorbed. The thing that I like is the scoring that appears to be developing while keeping the defense relatively tight...8 goals in 3 games last year would have seemed like an abundance of scoring...and its coming from where it was expected not to mention the two (2) power play goals tonight. I like it...keep praying for them fr joe...

i just got back in-read the thread-not a good finish but anytime you do not lose on the road you have to be at least a little satisfied. But this one should have been in the bag-learning to play with a lead is something we need to do. Hope to back for tonight. Let's Go Red!

Hound, I totally agree with your assessment, but they are having trouble raising their game late.
I think that this could be a special team, and if they learn to play the last ten minutes like they play the first fifty, we will be playing late into March.
