In the meantime-Union was down 2-0 and came back to tie up Notre Dame late in the third. They seem to do what we have not yet learned to do

Very disappointing loss. We had this game and let it get away. Leonard caught flat footed, and then we back up to give up a shot from below the hash marks.
We played a great 56 minutes of hockey, unfortunately, Michigan decided to play the last four.

Let's see if we can play that way for the full 60 tomorrow night and come home with a split.

Very good description of the game. Although it was not just Leonard as we had several chances to stop the rush that tied the game at 2. We were just not physically involved on that entire play. No one put any effort into hitting that guy coming up ice. Contrast that with the Union game tonight-they were down a goal late. Drew a penalty and scored a power play goal to tie and send it to overtime. You have to play to the last buzzer and we just did not tonight. We stopped and watched after 56 minutes.

You guys have short memories, the boys protected the lead at UNH. Sounds like UM might be a but more formidable an opponent. Leonard and Bradley played the last 2 minutes and did ok. Hopefully a good learning experience.
