RPI Hockey 2019 - 2020 Part III: Destination: Lake Placid (and Beyond)!!

Re: RPI Hockey 2019 - 2020 Part III: Destination: Lake Placid (and Beyond)!!

In the mean time -Yale throwing everything but the kitchen sink on net and Hanson has stopped everything so far for a 1-0 lead

Saw one post hit and another Yale player fanned on a wide open net. And now 4-0 Harvard.

Re: RPI Hockey 2019 - 2020 Part III: Destination: Lake Placid (and Beyond)!!

The Hawaii Five-O music is playing in the Bright Center. Now 5-0.

Re: RPI Hockey 2019 - 2020 Part III: Destination: Lake Placid (and Beyond)!!

SLU on the PP makes it 5-1 a little less embarrassing but there is still 30 minutes to play

Now 20 minutes left and the same score. If all scores hold, there will be no Game 3s tomorrow and second round matches would be:
Cornell vs. Princeton
Clarkson vs. Union
Quinnipiac vs. Colgate
RPI vs. Harvard

Re: RPI Hockey 2019 - 2020 Part III: Destination: Lake Placid (and Beyond)!!

Union is acting like Union and gives up 2 quick ones early in the third and trails 2-1. Princeton now up 4-1 en route to a big upset series

Re: RPI Hockey 2019 - 2020 Part III: Destination: Lake Placid (and Beyond)!!

Dartmouth has woken up. Now only down 4-3 with 7 minutes left.

Princeton just had a goal waived off.

Dartmouth helped in the comeback by a penalty call that was a bit sketchy on Princeton.

Re: RPI Hockey 2019 - 2020 Part III: Destination: Lake Placid (and Beyond)!!

I think Brown and Colgate may be going into OT

Re: RPI Hockey 2019 - 2020 Part III: Destination: Lake Placid (and Beyond)!!

Brown and Colgate heading to OT tied at 2.

Re: RPI Hockey 2019 - 2020 Part III: Destination: Lake Placid (and Beyond)!!

only match up carved in stone might be ours against Harvard as they hold that 5-1 lead. Everything else is still up in the air. Union now losing 4-1 and that series will go on

Re: RPI Hockey 2019 - 2020 Part III: Destination: Lake Placid (and Beyond)!!

DC ties it up with 2 seconds to go!

So if Yale wins Game 3, then the series would be:
Cornell vs. Princeton
Clarkson vs. Colgate
Quinnipiac vs. Yale (nice short road trip)
RPI vs. Harvard

I assume the official announcement will be either tomorrow or Monday. They might be trying to figure out an alternative that doesn't involve refunding a lot of tickets.

With all those seniors graduating, is your coaching staff open to looking at the grad portal?
