In honor of Rory Herrman and Kirsten Iwanski, today is 19 September 2019. There are 16 days until RPI's next game.


This is based upon 5 October 2019 for the start of next season.

Oh for the days when hockey line lasted for weeks and a map showing which seats offered unobstructed views was essential. Some where simple hand-drawn sketches, but some of the frats with in-house draftsmen talent had pretty nice ones. The poles were gone before CAD became prevalent.

By my first game (1976) at least the chicken wire was gone.

In 1965-66 many looked for a pole to sit behind. Otherwise they found themselves covering their eyes.:eek:

Could not agree more. Tuition is priced high enough to include tickets to any and all sporting events including hockey.

A whole lot more students show up for hockey games than for basketball games, despite the fact that the basketball team plays in a nice new gym and admission to the games is free.

Ooh, the nostalgia! Polacek obviously drove that line, but Helfrich was pretty special in his own right.

Only if you're a student. I think it's paid for by the Office of First Year Experience and Residence Life.
