After reading their extremely insightful and well written articles, I can say that Without a Peer is appropriately named. Thank you for all your hard work!

Thanks for all the news that you have given us over the years. It was/is a great read. Congratulations to Tom on his and his wife's new arrival.

How heavy do I need to dress to walk around Troy and the campus tomorrow through early Sunday? (Remember that I am used to the 82 deg which it is currently here.:) )

Ironically, the lead sentence in the Saratogian's Nov. 4 preview article for last weekend's games (referenced in post # 349) said that RPI had been dealt "as tough of a loss as a team can be dealt" in their previous outing.

The Saratogian's writer had no idea how tough of a loss RPI was going to be dealt the very next night. :(

Yale owed you guys, the Fieldhouse had not been kind to Yale for the past few seasons.

We should not forget what made this such a horrible loss.
We outplayed a ranked team for 57 minutes. We played a great third period for 17 minutes.
And it took a fluke goal to tie the game.
We have a pretty young team on the ice right now, and the kids are playing well.
If we can continue to play the way we did for 57 minutes and just extend that for 3 more, we will win a lot of games in the ECAC.
It is still a very young season.
It took me two days to get over that loss, but I can now see the improvement this team is making from one weekend to the next.

Lets go red!!!!!!!!!

What game were you watching? Yale mostly dominated. Thank your goalie for almost getting you a win.

Mostly dominated? Are you sure you watched the same game? It seemed fairly even for a good chunk of the game. I'll give you the first period, though. And as much as the use of "dreaded" on this board would seem otherwise, one period is not an entire game.

I understand where you are coming from. We fans tend to watch our teams through rose colored glasses. But a check of the scoreboard with three minutes remaining shows the truth. Your goalie also played very well, but up to that point, he was behind 2-0.
I commend Yale for their 60 minute effort. They did not give up and it paid off for them.
As I personally have a connection to Yale, I have no allegiance to their hockey team. But I wish them well the rest of the way.
