Speaking about wrongs, did anyone else notice the Times Union's story on the Cornell game credited Mike Bubela with a goal?!?

Congratulations to Papa Baer for his victory in the "ECAC Pick-'em" contest for the regular season.

I hope his picks in the first round of the playoffs are even more successful.

It's the limerick for me,

....considering all the talk the last 24 hrs that a 2nd Rd. pick or a 3rd AND 4th Rounder would be necessary, it is low. Kudos to Ducks for a steal? I’ll be interested to see how they use him. They tried speed with getting Carl Hagelin & that didn’t work out so this might be a great landing spot for Brandon. Late night TV just got better.......I hope.

I hope so, there was a lot of surprise on twitter from the hockey press/blogs. Get a little worried when a 20 goal scorer goes for a 6th round choice...

Are those the Ducks that now seem like they will never lose another game?
Does an RPI boy get his name on the cup this year?

one of the Blackhawk beat writers intimated on twitter this is the second team he's burned his bridges with. Others are speculating FLA didnt want to pay what teams would perceive to be an unfair arbitration award.

There was a discussion on the NHL network about the price he might be able to get considering his 20 goal season last year.
His GM said that he had just picked up a couple of forwards and needed to get back a draft pick as a reason for trading Pirri.
He is still injured and not ready to play, so the 6th rounder might just be a combination of all those things.

I know for some the sight we drew Brown
Was occasion for many a frown.
Have faith in our boys
and hope for some joys

Woodie most improved, plays tough but doesn't get chippy anymore, make America great again.

imagine jerry, pirri and chase together when they left. would have been frozen four team, best to jenny.
