RPI Hockey 2014-2015 Part II: Dedicated to Rich Curadi

How about a little respect for a man who proudly wore this country's uniform and provided the very freedom we enjoy

This is why I stop looking at the threads a lot and stop posting. He should have half the class as Knowlton. I have a tremendous amount of respect for the man and can honestly say that I'm a better person for having met and know him. Same can be said for both of my boys. I'm sure he wouldnt say that directly to his face...

Very glad to see the comments of some others I hold a lot of respect for here too. Thank you.

I never met the man, but this is what I've heard consistently. Not rubbish from an activist.

I have met the person a few times, and just seems like another Dr. Jackson crony. Especially after the 09-10 playoffs, when they had the gall to defend Brown fans stupid enough to sit in the student section thinking they'll be respected. One of my buddies came up with the nickname. Heck, I hold hiim responsible for trying to get rid of Puckman.

Oh, and I see the childish tags have returned.

Jim Knowlton is one of the finest men I’ve had the privilege to get to know. That’s all I have to say on that.

I met Jim Knowlton many times and like him very much; quite classy, abundantly positive, great role model. I think he responded to the Mayor's Cup fracas very deftly. I love the football fan-fest. Teams are performing well, we've had nothing or next-to-nothing in terms of off-field problems and the Student-Athlete GPAs remain high by all reports. I can't remember if he's the one that made the Red Hawk disappear but whoever did that deserves great acclaim. I HATED having two mascots; one for D1 and one for D3. One quibble, I think the long extension for SA was a mistake. I don't think SA should be shown the door but signing through 2021 gives very little flexibility if we don't soon become regulars at the ECAC-F-4. Not that he can be expected to do much about this, but I find it very off-putting that the Hockey and Football Presidential boxes are off-limits to us regular folk; they seem empty or nearly empty quite often. Tenure, I'd say B+; as a person A+.

I wouldn't mind a win. Not going to hold my breath for it, though. If we get it, fabulous.

So far I have received six messages today from various RPI accounts telling me about the RPi challenge.

I am heading to NYC by train this morning. I hope to be back in the hotel by game time after eating dinner, but there are a lot of things which could go wrong.

This exact thing happened vs. Cornell in the 08-09 quarters, only with roles reversed. Does the rest of it remain true?

I should be here. My niece and her fiance have tickets to the Islanders this evening, so I am not the only one who wants to get back. (It's going to be a mixed marriage. She is a Rangers/Yankees/Gaints fan and he is an ISlanders/Mets/Jets fan. )
