RPI Hockey 2014-2015 Part II: Dedicated to Rich Curadi

Re: RPI Hockey 2014-2015 Part II: Dedicated to Rich Curadi

It must have been quite short because I did not notice that he was not posting.

I thought it was fairly short, too. Perhaps the nature of the offense dictates the amount of time. I'm thinking it was a 12-hour.

Re: RPI Hockey 2014-2015 Part II: Dedicated to Rich Curadi

I received a message earlier today from Jericho stating that he will not be posting on USCHO in the future except on score threads due to having received threat of physical violence. He asked me to post this.

Terrible. It sucks when people forget that everyone on here is just another person who wants to talk about hockey. It's Penny Arcade's Greater Internet F-wad Theory.

After all of that, I now know why I will never go to another game vs. Union or CCT in person... it will probably end up in a fight.

I was threatened a couple weeks ago with physical violence. It was because of a couple posts I had made about the Yale TV color announcer. But Jenny relented when I took her to Flemington Furs and bought her a couple of warm coats and then a bauble from Bvlgari.;)

And this is why a smile comes back to us when you post. :)

Most of the posters, at least on our threads, are really a lot of fun and contribute a lot of knowledge in addition to their opinions. I continue to hope that everyone remains civil (or mechanical or electrical as the case may be).

Dude-You met her. I have been with her over 40 years and there are times I am very very afraid. I have slept with one eye open a number of times and there have been weeks when I had the cats taste all my food first.;) She has that hot Italian temper (from the Genovese family side) and if I was ever in a bar fight, I want her on my side(along with big Luke).:)

For those who have not checked over on the weather thread in the cafe-this part of NJ is expected to get the full force of this noreaster blizzard. Last storm like this hit us with 36+ inches and our local experts are calling for 18-24+ this time with wind gusts of hurricane strength. We may be without power or internet for a considerable time so if i do not respond to anyone, just know that we are probably offline and i am downing considerable ethanol. Really wish they had not taken Quaaludes of the market back in the 80's at a time like this.;)

Hopefully you, along with anyone else in the affected area, regardless of fandom, is able to survive this without much in terms of asset losses.

I too am in the path of the storm. My generator and snowblower were tested yesterday. Gas cans were filled. The firewood is piled by the door. If cable goes down hopefully I will still have a cellphone signal and can follow the board that way. Good luck to all those in the Northeast. We have about 3 or 4 inches on the ground at almost 5 PM.

Cell phones aren't going to work. These sorts of things are the exact reason I've been a ham for 19 years, despite the fact that I'm on the very outer edge of possibly being affected.

You haven't heard much from me lately. I've been quiet because I've been busy. :D I've been good. :) Really. ;)
