Without resorting to looking it up-can anyone remember the last time we were undefeated against Union during league play for both Hockey and Football???

The 2003-04 season (i.e., the last time we swept Union in ECAC play), we also beat Union 33-7 to win back the shoes.

I looked it up.

I was just about to say that (and didn't look it up) :)

All I know is that we have the shoes, the Mayor's Cup, and the Capital Skates Trophy (for winning the season series against Union this season).
Now all we need is the NCAA Championship...

We need to score a goal in the NCAA tournament first. And in order to get there, we need to actually win a playoff series.

I was actually quite surprised that it was that recent. Our lack of success in football against union is long standing and we have actually fared far better against them in the past decade. i consider this year quite a feat-winning the Shoes, winning both league games, and I hope this continues for the next meeting this season.

What a disgrace the officiating was tonight. Players get hurt in this league because these guys let things get out of hand.

What a lousy time to have a Tuesday game. Lost both Schroeder & Nanne tonight. Bubela probably won’t have had enough time by Tues. (protocol you know ;)...that should tell you the injury). Neal could be back. BRO would be back for weekend but not sure about Tues. Chris Bradley....still not sure.

Very good to see Parker Reno with (IMO) a very productive weekend. Best I ‘ve seen him play in his 1+ here.

Hockey is a very frustrating game when the referees don't have to give an explanation for their actions. I am sure that Princeton was frustrated on Friday and we certainly could have used an explanation last night.
There were many positives we should take from last nights game.
We played a very good team with a lineup that didn't include four of our best players, and we played them even for sixty minutes. I am sure that Kasdorf would like that first goal back, so Q got an easy one to tie the game.
We could have folded at that time, but we played on. I know that the third period didn't look very good, but we lost another two players. Maybe fatigue had something to do with it.
I like this team more every time I see them play. This team has grit and fight and they try their best no matter who is on the ice.

The no goal call was the correct call. As for the rest of it, you have a beef.

Dude, I would like to hear why you thought that Friday nights play was a good goal, and why you believe that last night no goal was the correct call (I am not being a wise guy). I have not read the rule and can only go by what is on our broadcast. And going by that, it seems to me that they were both bad calls. How do you distinguish between the two.

On Saturday's play, there was a "shot" at the time the net was dislodged, but it hit one of the bars. Play ends at that point.

On Friday, the shot as it was going before knocking off the net was cleanly in.

The person on RPI-TV's chat didn't have the citation quite right; it's 26.2, second clause, page 33.
