Ralph's head is actually closer to the surface of the ground by being alive than he would be if he were dead. :D

Not really since I post from the 7th floor of my building. :D

Edit: which some may call the 8th floor since the 1st floor is one floor above the lobby level,

I agree. I have always wondered why they did that.

I think they don't call them "floors" if I am not mistaken they are what we call "stories" e.g. ground floor, first story, second story, etc.: how many levels atop the ground level.

You are much braver than I am. I have to be on the second floor or lower as I have a severe case of Height-drophobia. Probably explains why I married a woman who is 4'10"

You really should seek therapy. (But that is the second funniest post of the month)

Re: RPI Hockey 2014-2015: Dedicated to Rich Curadi

In Today's Troy Record Appert is quoted saying it is likely Kasdorf, Schroeder and Nanne will miss the BU game. Melanson is still out, of course, with Mono. Miller will probably play but is also banged up. Maybe Gillespie gets another shot on Saturday. Injuries are part of sports, but this team has been snake bit the last 4-5 weeks.

Let's hope everyone can get fairly healthy and be back for Harvard at the end of the month. I hate having a league game after nearly 3 weeks off, but the ECAC continues to screw up the league schedule to accommodate Harvard and the BeanPot. Interesting that Harvard is playing other mid-week games around league matches, but can't handle the BeanPot schedule. The switch hasn't seemed to help much. Their record in the tournament is awful the past 10 years

Here's hoping everything with Ralph's surgery was routine. I probably won't be around when you resume posting, so that here's a hopeful "welcome back" in advance.

Fulton is also out according to the article in the Saratogian posted on the RPI-BU thread. I would think that it is the same article.

Here is the link http://www.troyrecord.com/sports/20141209/engineers-still-plagued-by-injuries. The Record decided to file it under College Basketball.

Also a disturbing number of typos in the article. I know that newspapers have slashed positions, especially copy editors, but it appears that even Ed didn't read it before he hit send. It still has good information. When he has the time to cover the beat he does a pretty good job of putting out informative stories.

Speaking of typos, I liked the headline "brake time" on the front page of the game notes http://www.rpiathletics.com/documents/2014/12/10//2014_15_Hockey_GameNotes_BU.pdf?id=2001
