Re: RPI @ Harvard (Friday 2/12/10)

I didn't draw any conclusions. I'm not asking for Cullen on that line. I'm asking for someone who can keep up with D'Amigo and Polacek. Halpern can be a valuable player, but is not the guy to do what D'Amigo and Polacek need.

It's ok K-man, I wasn't ripping on you. There's a backstory to it.

I know there is; I've been part of it. I just wonder how long Appert is going to drag on the scharade.

It's also entirely possible that Halpern is playing a good defensive game, freeing up D'Amigo and Polacek to fly. I wish I were there to see but I'm not. :(

Since you're intelligent and not a dick, I can have this conversation with you. Appert sees these guys every day. We already know Cullen's struggling to do his job in games - and Appert knows better than we are what's going on in practice. It's true that when Cullen is on, as he was last season, he's a useful asset. But he hasn't performed in games and if Seth's not confident with what he sees in practice, from him or Helfrich, the team isn't hurting when he's not in the lineup.

I agree, but it seems strange to me to not try giving Brutlag or Angers-Goulet (who are much better on the puck than Halpern) a shot.

Then again, D'Amigo and Polacek have 5 points tonight, I'm going to shut up now.

I wish I could see what's going on with this game. Against SLU and Clarkson he almost seemed like Halpern was hindering CP and JD'A. I wonder if he's playing a role in their success tonight.
