I had wondered why no one started this earlier. Need to come out and start well. Hopefully no jet lag for tonight. A little short handed up front for the weekend but the defense looks intact. Wonder if we will suit up all 7 defensemen for either game? Go Red!!

Cant afford anymore injuries as were down to 12 healthy forwards (assuming McGowan is still out) and with just 7 dmen that leaves only 1 healthy scratch this weekend. So lets come home from Big Rapids with 2 wins and no more injuries!

Supposedly McGowan will play one game this weekend. i think it was in the Record.

With Higgs and O'Grady out-hope we can get continued scoring from our defensemen. 5 Freshmen forwards and 2 freshmen defensemen out there-looks like they will be getting their feet wet quickly. Let's Go Red!!

Looks like two mucking/grinding lines and two lines loaded with skill. Also, our three best d-men are split up. Sounds like Appert is ready for a really tough physical encounter.

Looking forward to seeing (hearing) the La-"Liberty" line....also good to see McGowan in the line-up.

Also still experimenting to find the combinations he wants to go with the rest of the year. With so many new faces, it is still so early in the season that he probably has not made any firm decisions as to who skates with who.
