Re: RPI @ Dartmouth, Saturday, 11/02/2013

Game ends with RPI up 7-1.
Just too bad we couldn't keep the shut out for Dieblold. He kept us in it in the first with some spectacular saves.

Has quietly amassed some stellar stats. GAA and Save PCT is about as good as it gets. he has done everything asked of him and has shown that he is a top notch NCAA goalie.

Seth said he was recruited to be a #1 goalie. He's sure beginning to prove it. Makes the loss of Kasdorf a little easier to swallow.

From what i have seen-SA is not one to waste any effort. Anyone and everyone he even tries to recruit-is for first line position. He does not often look to just fill in someone as a backup. I amy not always agree with every one of his gametime decisions-but i do not question his desire to win or his efforts to improve the team and the program.

That might be the worst version of the Star Spangled Banner that I have ever heard by someone who didn't forget the words. :)

Ah, but you must not have noticed that the rocket's red glare and the bombs bursting in air gave proof TO the night. That really added a nice touch to an otherwise painful rendition. "Take that, night! Our flag's still there!"

You're right. I didn't notice that.

Actually, every showoff singer gets it wrong, because the verse commonly sung is ...and the home of the brave? without any sort of exclamation whatsoever. Maybe they should sing the fourth verse. Of course, that would tick off whatever the atheist group calls themselves today.
