Re: RPI@Dartmouth 1/6/18

Dude-Wish the entire tech segment fel that way. Hate to have to keep updating things.

One other reason for all the updates, similar to let's say a hockey team, you start to find vulnerabilities in the things you develop, and so you have to evolve in order to compensate. Otherwise, you get to a point where it doesn't work.

Re: RPI@Dartmouth 1/6/18

Do you not think by now that our weaknesses are pretty obvious to every team that scouts us or sees film of us? Gosh, almost all of us here can list what needs to be addressed.

Yes, but why give the opposition a reason to not have to closely study the film and just tell them what it is? Once you do that, you know exactly what the other team's going for.

And yes, I know I don't take that advice. But that's more of the IDGa* syndrome. ;)

Re: RPI@Dartmouth 1/6/18

Pretty safe assumption since there are far more alumni in Boston than in Hanover.

What, people don't want to enjoy a trip to a hockey game without being required to wear a seatbelt (despite NH having the highest rate of seatbelt usage in the country)? :p

Not exactly the point. After a while, when the message starts to just sound like propaganda, you begin to either not believe the messenger or distrust him. We had those kinds of speeches and interviews for 11 years and would just like to have it a bit different I suppose. Not asking for state's secrets by any means, just some honesty.

It's possible to have a decent game and lose, just as you can have a crappy game and win. Sounded like there were points with good energy (obviously didn't watch it), and that's a decent thing to build upon. At least it isn't the same crud every single time.

Some honesty from WaP. :(

Perhaps we could just survive the dreaded first periods? DC scores and we will play from behind as we have much of the season.
