RPI@Dartmouth 1/31/26

We did not play all the badly and much of the game was up and down. In reference to the one RPI goal disallowed- the goalie for Dartmouth knocked the goal off himself - there was no one even remotely in the crease. RPI flipped the puck into the net as the goal was still sliding off the blue ice but was indeed off both pegs. I did not hear the whistle blow before the puck crossed the line. The officials reviewed the play for some time and decided no goal. I am not sure about the rule that governs this but felt that there was a very decent chance the goal should have counted. Of course we do not often seem to get a break!!

As I noted in the thread during the game, their goaltender knocked the net off its pegs on his own at least 3 times. It seemed clear that he did it intentionally. It was worthy of at least a delay of game minor. If this guy plays against us on Freakout weekend I hope Coach Lang reminds the refs that he has a pattern to relieve pressure.
