RPI @ Cornell (Saturday, 25 February 2012)

Re: RPI @ Cornell (Saturday, 25 February 2012)

Cornell penalty number 2-for not knowing how to count-make them pay-taken back-forget it was ever called

Re: RPI @ Cornell (Saturday, 25 February 2012)

Apparently Cornell had too many men on the ice, but it wasn't noticed.

Re: RPI @ Cornell (Saturday, 25 February 2012)

The Cornell radio announcers were pretty sure that was Too Many Men on Cornell ...

Re: RPI @ Cornell (Saturday, 25 February 2012)

RPi penalty number 3-hold the fort-and this one does count-late in the period

Re: RPI @ Cornell (Saturday, 25 February 2012)

And now there's a call on RPI. I guess Lynah Rink has a reality distortion field around it ...

Re: RPI @ Cornell (Saturday, 25 February 2012)

Sounded like a bit of a different period though-Cornell has made some changes and has come out with more offense. Good period on the road again for us but we were not able to generate the chances like we did earlier. I do not know if Cornell is usually a heavily penalized team but it sure sounds like they will have to draw blood to get called tonight.

Appert did receive an explanation from one of the refs when play was blown dead on the Cornell too-many-men non-call. I'd love to have heard that conversation. Last night, TWCS mic'd the refs at Colgate. It seemed they dropped more than one expletive during the course of the game. And it seemed like Colgate's Coach may have gotten one into a hot mic as well.
